epx quotes

Reads quotes, personal data included. STATUS is CREATING, AWAITING, OPEN, IN_PROGRESS, ACCEPTED, DECLINED, DECLINED_BY_MERCHANT or EXPIRED, CUSTOMER the customer it is for (email, name or customer id), and TOTAL the gross total in the quote’s currency. Items, prices, addresses and comments are only in -o json. epx quotes reasons lists the reasons for changing or declining a quote. epx quotes create, patch and delete change quotes; pdf saves a quote’s PDF. Its reads require the quote.quote_read scope. Its writes require the quote.quote_manage scope. Command: epx quotes [flags], epx quotes [command] Flags: only the global flags. Subcommands

epx quotes create

Create a quote. Creates a quote from the JSON object in --file: a whole quote, with customerId (or customerEmail), siteCode, currency, billingAddressId, shippingAddressId and items (each with its product, price and quantity), or a cart’s, with its cartId and optionally the addresses and shipping. Without an id, Emporix makes one; it answers with the quote’s id. A quote made from a cart closes the cart (status CLOSED, with the quoteId): Emporix then answers its reads and its delete as not found (exit 4), while epx carts search lists it. Without --allow-external-prices, Emporix refuses an item with price type EXTERNAL with 400 Bad Request (exit 1). It fails with 500 Internal Server Error (exit 1) on a cart without items, and answers a product that is not published as not found (exit 4). Changes data: on a terminal, epx asks before it sends POST. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. --allow-external-prices also requests the cart.cart_manage_external_prices scope. Requires the quote.quote_manage scope. Command: epx quotes create [flags] Flags
  • --allow-external-prices
Allow a body with external prices (price type EXTERNAL) (requests cart.cart_manage_external_prices too).
  • --dry-run
Print the request instead of sending it (excludes -o).
  • --file <PATH>
JSON request body in PATH, sent byte for byte (- reads standard input; sending it then needs --yes; required).
  • -o, --output <format>
Format of the response: json or yaml. Default: json.
  • --yes
Send without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -).
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes delete

Delete one quote. Deletes the quote ID; it sends no body. Emporix answers an unknown ID as one that it deleted (204 No Content). ID is the ID that epx quotes list shows. Deletes data, which cannot be undone. On a terminal, epx sends DELETE only once you type ID at its prompt. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. Requires the quote.quote_manage scope. Command: epx quotes delete ID [flags] Flags
  • --dry-run
Print the request instead of sending it (excludes -o).
  • -o, --output <format>
Format of the response: json or yaml. Default: json.
  • --yes
Send without asking (required without a terminal).
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes get

Show one quote. Output format: table, json, yaml or csv (csv: the table’s rows; json and yaml: the whole response). Default: table.
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes history

List the changes of a quote. Reads the history of a quote, personal data included: when (MODIFIED), by whom (BY: user type and name) and what changed (CHANGE: the operation and the changed part). Old and new values are only in -o json. Emporix sends the whole history in one response. QUOTE_ID is the ID that epx quotes list shows; an unknown one is not found. Requires the quote.quote_read scope. Command: epx quotes history QUOTE_ID [flags] Flags
  • --columns <names>
Print only these columns of table and csv, in this order: comma-separated names (any case) among ID, MODIFIED, BY, CHANGE.
  • --limit <n>

  • --stream
Print items as JSON Lines as soon as they are checked, page by page on paged lists, reading up to 10000 pages where a list without it stops after 1000: a check failing on a later page exits 1 after the pages before it (excludes -o, --columns and --no-headers).
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes list

List quotes. Requires the quote.quote_read scope. Command: epx quotes list [flags] Flags
  • --columns <names>
Print only these columns of table and csv, in this order: comma-separated names (any case) among ID, STATUS, CUSTOMER, COMPANY, SITE, VALID TO, TOTAL.
  • --limit <n>
Print at most n items; paged reads stop early where they safely can (0: every item).
  • --no-headers
Print table and csv without the header row.
  • -o, --output <format>
Output format: table, json, yaml or csv (csv: the table’s rows; json and yaml: the whole response). Default: table.
  • --query <filter>
Emporix q filter, passed as given, e.g. code:(A1,A2); space-separated conditions must all match (fields mostly as in -o json).
  • --sort <order>
Emporix sort order, passed as given, e.g. code or name.en:desc, code; fields mostly as in -o json (Emporix may ignore an unknown one).
  • --stream
Print items as JSON Lines as soon as they are checked, page by page on paged lists, reading up to 10000 pages where a list without it stops after 1000: a check failing on a later page exits 1 after the pages before it (excludes -o, --columns and --no-headers).
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes patch

Change a quote. Changes the quote ID with the operations in --file: a JSON array of operations, each with op (ADD, REMOVE or REPLACE), path (such as /status, /validTo, /items or /items/ITEM_ID) and value, e.g. [{"op": "REPLACE", "path": "/status", "value": {"value": "OPEN"}}]. Emporix completes the prices and product names of items from their ids afterwards. Emporix refuses to add or replace an item with price type EXTERNAL with 400 Bad Request (exit 1), also with cart.cart_manage_external_prices (create accepts one). ID is the ID that epx quotes list shows. Changes data: on a terminal, epx asks before it sends PATCH. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. Requires the quote.quote_manage scope. Command: epx quotes patch ID [flags] Flags

Format of the response: json or yaml. Default: json.
  • --yes
Send without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -).
Also takes the global flags.

epx quotes pdf

Save the PDF of a quote. Reads the PDF of the quote QUOTE_ID; an unknown quote is not found (exit 4). QUOTE_ID is the ID that epx quotes list shows. In a --language for which a product has no name, the PDF shows the template variable $quoteitem.productName in its place; a language that the tenant does not configure is answered in English, not refused. Changes nothing: Emporix serves this read as POST with no body. Emporix answers with the PDF, which epx saves to the file that --out names (readable by its owner only; a file there is replaced, but not a directory, device or link), or writes to standard output with --out -, unless that is a terminal. An answer that is no PDF fails (exit 1), and nothing is saved. Requires the quote.quote_read scope. Command: epx quotes pdf QUOTE_ID [flags] Flags
  • --language <LANGUAGE>
The LANGUAGE of the PDF’s text, e.g. de, as the tenant configures it (default: the tenant’s default language).
  • --out <PATH>
Save the PDF to the file PATH, or with - write it to standard output (required).
Also takes the global flags. Examples
