epx taxes

Reads tax configurations, one per location. CLASSES lists each tax class with its rate in percent (-o json adds their names). epx taxes calculate applies them to a price. Its reads require different OAuth scopes; the help of each names them. Its writes require the tax.tax_manage scope. Command: epx taxes [flags], epx taxes [command] Flags: only the global flags. Subcommands

epx taxes calculate

Calculate the net and gross value of a price. Calculates the net and gross value of a price with the tax configurations that epx taxes list shows: a net --price gets the rate of --tax-class in --country; with --gross, a gross price is reduced by that rate, or, with --source-country and --source-tax-class, by theirs before the rate of --country is added. SOURCE RATE and TARGET RATE are the rates applied, in percent. A country without a tax configuration is not found (exit 4). Changes nothing: Emporix serves this read as PUT with a JSON body, which the flags make or --body gives whole. No OAuth scope is needed. Command: epx taxes calculate [flags] Flags
  • --body <FILE>
Send the JSON request body in FILE as given (- reads standard input) instead of the one the other flags make.
  • --columns <names>
Print only these columns of table and csv, in this order: comma-separated names (any case) among NET, GROSS, SOURCE RATE, TARGET RATE.
  • --country <COUNTRY>
The COUNTRY code to calculate for (required without --body).
  • --gross
The price is gross, tax included (default: net).
  • --no-headers
Print table and csv without the header row.
  • -o, --output <format>
Output format: table, json, yaml or csv (csv: the table’s rows; json and yaml: the whole response). Default: table.
  • --price <PRICE>
The PRICE to calculate from, e.g. 12.99 (required without --body).
  • --source-country <COUNTRY>
The COUNTRY code whose tax the gross price includes (only with --gross).
  • --source-tax-class <CLASS>
The tax CLASS that the gross price includes (only with --gross).
  • --tax-class <CLASS>
The tax CLASS to apply, e.g. STANDARD (required without --body).
Also takes the global flags.

epx taxes create

Create a tax configuration. Creates the tax configuration of a country from the JSON in --file: location.countryCode and taxClasses, each with its code, name, order, rate in percent and, for one, isDefault, e.g. {"location": {"countryCode": "NL"}, "taxClasses": [{"code": "STANDARD", "name": {"en": "Standard"}, "order": 0, "rate": 21, "isDefault": true}]}. A country that has one already is a conflict (exit 5). Localized text in the body, such as a name, is a map of translations, e.g. {"en": "gram", "de": "Gramm"}, as -o json of a read prints it, or with --content-language LANGUAGE a string in that language, e.g. "gram" with --content-language en. Changes data: on a terminal, epx asks before it sends POST. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. Requires the tax.tax_manage scope. Command: epx taxes create [flags] Flags
  • --content-language <LANGUAGE>
The LANGUAGE of localized text in the body, or * for maps of translations. Default: *.
  • --dry-run
Print the request instead of sending it (excludes -o).
  • --file <PATH>
JSON request body in PATH, sent byte for byte (- reads standard input; sending it then needs --yes; required).
  • -o, --output <format>
Format of the response: json or yaml. Default: json.
  • --yes
Send without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -).
Also takes the global flags.

epx taxes delete

Delete a tax configuration. Deletes the tax configuration of LOCATION; it sends no body. Deletes data, which cannot be undone. On a terminal, epx sends DELETE only once you type LOCATION at its prompt. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. Requires the tax.tax_manage scope. Command: epx taxes delete LOCATION [flags] Flags
  • --dry-run
Print the request instead of sending it (excludes -o).
  • -o, --output <format>
Format of the response: json or yaml. Default: json.
  • --yes
Send without asking (required without a terminal).
Also takes the global flags.

epx taxes get

Show one tax configuration. Reads tax configurations, one per location. CLASSES lists each tax class with its rate in percent (-o json adds their names). epx taxes calculate applies them to a price. Requires the tax.tax_read scope. Command: epx taxes get LOCATION [flags] Flags
  • --columns <names>
Print only these columns of table and csv, in this order: comma-separated names (any case) among LOCATION, COUNTRY, CLASSES.
  • --no-headers
Print table and csv without the header row.
  • -o, --output <format>
Output format: table, json, yaml or csv (csv: the table’s rows; json and yaml: the whole response). Default: table.
Also takes the global flags.

epx taxes list

List taxes. Reads tax configurations, one per location. CLASSES lists each tax class with its rate in percent (-o json adds their names). epx taxes calculate applies them to a price. Requires the tax.tax_read scope. Command: epx taxes list [flags] Flags
  • --columns <names>
Print only these columns of table and csv, in this order: comma-separated names (any case) among LOCATION, COUNTRY, CLASSES.
  • --limit <n>
Print at most n items; paged reads stop early where they safely can (0: every item).
  • --no-headers
Print table and csv without the header row.
  • -o, --output <format>
Output format: table, json, yaml or csv (csv: the table’s rows; json and yaml: the whole response). Default: table.
  • --sort <order>
Emporix sort order, passed as given, e.g. code or name.en:desc, code; fields mostly as in -o json (Emporix may ignore an unknown one).
  • --stream
Print items as JSON Lines as soon as they are checked, page by page on paged lists, reading up to 10000 pages where a list without it stops after 1000: a check failing on a later page exits 1 after the pages before it (excludes -o, --columns and --no-headers).
Also takes the global flags.

epx taxes update

Replace a tax configuration. Replaces the tax configuration of LOCATION with the JSON in --file, shaped as epx taxes get LOCATION -o json prints it, with its metadata.version as read: a stale version and an unknown LOCATION are both not found (exit 4): Emporix answers 404 to both. The country code cannot change. Localized text in the body, such as a name, is a map of translations, e.g. {"en": "gram", "de": "Gramm"}, as -o json of a read prints it, or with --content-language LANGUAGE a string in that language, e.g. "gram" with --content-language en. Changes data: on a terminal, epx asks before it sends PUT. --yes sends without asking (required without a terminal, or with --file -); --dry-run prints the request instead of sending it. Requires the tax.tax_manage scope. Command: epx taxes update LOCATION [flags] Flags
